Booked a school bus for my daughter's wedding - driver showed up late looking hungover wearing a jean jacket in flip flops and no idea of our itinerary, locations and number of guests/trips. This was crystal clear before service and totally unacceptable.

A Vandry school bus drove past my son who they were supposed to pick up this morning. The reason why the driver drove past was because she was looking over her shoulder talking to a bus rider behind her. Luckily my son was smart enough not to step out assuming the bus would stop, if he would've he would be dead right now. I called the bus line to inform them of the situation and I was screamed over and abused and hung up on. The bus line then lied and told the Renfrew county bus coordinators that the child wasn't there and he frequently gets driven to school. I'm on disability and cannot drive some days or even walk. My son rarely gets driven to school , I watched as well as two of my neighbours as this bus went whipping through our little community. Landry bus lines solution was for me to chase the bus in my vehicle through my community. They did not call the bus to send it back nor did they correct the driver on her unsafe driving practises they just lied. I have filed a report with numerous agencies including the OPP, I personally do not feel safe having my child travel on Vandry bus lines nor do they show any concern for parents and children by being accountable for who they hire and how they drive our children around. Furthermore, they feel it's OK to scream at and abuse parents who are concerned for their child safety. I'm not looking for a driver to be terminated, this is the second time she's done this though, so maybe further driver training is required and maybe Landry bus lines should conduct some sensitivity training with their staff so they are not abusive and rude.
