It may not seem like alot but to me its all I have right now and the volunteer staff deserves more recognition and I wish I can show my appreciation to them for all that they have done for myself as well as many others. Desperate needs for donations if you can I would like the community to help me raise funds for anything they might be running short on. As for myself and others that rely on these services, I would like some of the local landlords to possibly giving some of us the chance to rent a unit. I myself am on ODSP, YOU WOULD THINK ITS A GUARANTEED INCOME. Anyways please help us find a home to live in. I wouldn't have giving up my apartment so easily if I thought I'd be going on a year homelessness not to mention the hate and judgemental looks that are given. I guess if your homeless you must be a pain in the neck or a drug user or just out right a person who is shunned or something. I see vacant spots everywhere but let's be honest nobodies going to give some people the day or time if your homeless. I don't look the greatest no more i look like a bum and it hurts so much. I just want a chance to be part of the community and feel like a human and not a piece of garbage. June Fields Thanks for reading my story.
