Sleepy George's Mattress Factory

We brought a king KOIL mattress here about 4 months ago, within 2 months it was already sagging and leaving us waking up in the morning sore all over, by month 4 it's so unbearable we have had to get rid of it completely. Waste of money. Disappointing because we felt like we weren't getting swindled and trusted the salesman but as soon as the mattress was out of the store and in our home they wanted nothing to do with us and didn't offer any kind of refund or exchange or any help at all even though the mattress began to deteriorate within the first initial week. Don't buy here.

So much positives to share about Sleepy Georges and those who work there. Recently moved to Pembroke, in need of a bed, and they had me set up with a mattress package, for a great price, within 24hrs - it was delivered and set-up! All the employees there went above and beyond - thank you!

Bought a bed 2 years ago and had a wonderful experience here. Needed a larger bed so I did not hesitate and headed to Sleepy Georges. This time an amazing experience was NOT the case. Ordered a matress and spent a pretty penny on it. It arrived and did not look or feel the same whatsoever. The owner boasted a "everything and anything warranty" so we were informed he could order us the same matress again to replace it, which sounded great, but while telling us that we were also told that the production of the foam in the matresses is not a perfect process and there's essentially no garuntee as to what arrives, it varies, it may feel different. Seemed very strange hearing this and it discouraged me from that model altogether. Picked a very soft sinkable matress and upgraded. It felt like a cloud in the store. Figured the softer the better after the first one. Received the new matress after minimal communication about its delay and it is hard as a rock. Decided I just wanted a full refund and was told "nope we don't do that" although it states nowhere on my bill of sale that it is final and this warranty is boasted. I've given this matress over a month now to hopefully have some give, but instead I have an $1800 slab of concrete and excruciating back pain. Not a fan of any part of this experience or the aftermath.

If i could give 0 stars I would... Don't expect communication, a straight answer, or anything less than gas-lit conversation. Won't take accountability, Bed we got vs showcase. Paraphrasing answers "not a perfect process", "manufactures change product" "no guarantee". First mattress, nothing like the showcase one. not even the same colour or pillow top. extremely uncomfortable. pretty much convinced the second upgraded mattress we got is not right either. not worth the headache to deal with Sleepy George's. No warranty paper work, no 30 day guarantee, just a mans word that its 10 yr(at their discretion). At one point was so fed up. Asked for a refund and for them to come get the mattress I had. "nope wont do that" was their answer. In short.. your lucky if you get the mattress you wanted. If its not what you wanted anticipate being jerked around!
