Very expensive for the tickets as it is a very old facility, the seats are very low and being a shorter person and my mother even shorter we need a booster seat. There is not much of a slant to the seating to screen. Will stick to waiting for movies to come on streaming. Disappointing as it was my first time here.

Nothing fancy when we start making comparisons to major movie theaters across Ontario. Overall, a good location with adequate movies. However, the are major things to improve, such as: 1. A greater assortment of movie options and "show times." 2. Soap in the washrooms should be a must given obvious hygienic reasons. 3. The food was good, but let's kick it up a notch by adding more variety. For instance, hot dogs?

*New edit If I could give less than one star I would. Thought I'd give the Pembroke theatre another chance, showed up for a Sunday matinee with my family, and the theatre was closed. Apparently they don't do Sundays anymore, although online showtimes confirm two Sunday shows. Many other families showed up as well, all were disappointed. Drove to Kanata to watch the movie. Another family did as well. Completely done with this theatre.* Had tickets to a free March break movie event for my kids, and discovered this theatre still insists on using vaccine passports even though provincial mandates have been dropped. Save your money as it's a disgusting uncomfortable theatre anyways, and make the trip to Renfrew or Kanata, where they don't discriminate.
