        This small library is a gem in Pembroke. Lots of fond memories here growing up, and I still make use of their services regularly. Selection can be quite limited if you are looking for specifics, but with enough patience just about any material is available via interlibrary loan. I would love to see this library receive some additional funding so that we could get some of the nice extras available in the Ottawa libraries like wider selection, video games available to borrow, more programming for all ages and interests, etc.

        Great place to spend an hour with a little one without having to spend money! The basement is a wonderful resource for parents and kids. Tables and chairs of both sizes, loads of kids books and fidgety wall mounted toys, a doll house and buckets of Legos! Great to let a 3 yr old hunt for a few books, get a bit bored and wander to the toys, look at books some more, play some more. I usually leave with 10ish books for her, mostly ones I've chosen so they are a surprise when we read them together later. I do know they have lots of programing and events, but personally it's just a great place to spend dome time right now.
