Blok Pools & Hot Tubs

My family just recently got a hot Tub here and its awesome! When we stopped in to look at new tubs they let us test them out and sit in them, told us all the features, and everyone was very knowledgable! As well as the two men who came to deliver and install our hot tub they were very fast! Id definitely recommend if youre looking for somewhere to go for a new hot tub!

I purchased a Coast Spas 2018 Classic Apex hot tub from Blok Pools and Hot Tubs in Pembroke, ON on 6 Nov 2019. This summer (end-June, 2022), the spa began to make some strange noises when the pump cycled on. We contacted Blok Pools, who contacted Coast Spas and were told that the 3 year warranty actually began 6 months before we purchased the spa and that the replacement of the pump was not covered. The warranty information provided to me at the time of purchase by both the Coast Spas website and the Coast Spas local dealer did not specify that the spa was under a reduced warranty and at no time was this information provided to me. I was not provided a manual or warranty card at time of purchase that specified any reduced warranty period either. In fact, when brought to the attention of Blok pools, they were unaware as to why the warranty was refused given that it was still within the 3 year warranty period and only later acknowledged that there was a reduced warranty. Not only should a hot tub pump that Coast Spas "claims" is made of quality materials not break after 2.5 years but if it does, that should be concerning to the manufacturer (which it was not!), especially if they in fact believe that they produce a quality product (which they do not!) In the end, both Coast Spas and Blok Pools and Hot Tubs refused any coverage or responsibility. If you are thinking of buying a Coast Spa from Blok Pools in Pembroke, ON; BEWARE and confirm every condition or detail of your warranty because they will find ways to not honor repairs to your $10,000+ purchase!
