Babbling Nonsense
Nice building, but lacking in many ways. The reception staff are terribly off putting, cold, unwelcoming and professional to a fault, very impersonal. The design of the reception area itself is awful. The client cannot see the staff and staff cannot see the client. I cant imagine a more awkward or disconnected approach or set up. There are no hellos or good mornings, no chit chat or welcome greetings. Sad, especially for the older clientele who may not get much interaction and for the clinic as a whole who come off as rude and uncaring. The limited phone availability is frustrating and the fees for services are astronomical- a sign of the times, sure, but incredibly high for a community doctors office. The automated system scoldings to clients about rudeness and being patient & polite is an off-putting way to answer a phone- and hypocritical. The care from my family physician has been great, he seems oblivious to the poor design and structure of the clinic reception and appointment process unfortunately. Thank goodness for the care from the doctors who make up for the short comings of the receptionists. A client oriented/invitational approach would do wonders to make this centre more welcoming and less of a headache. I dread any and every interaction I have with this place. Do better. The potential is there but something is seriously lacking.

I once shared a negative review of this place, and was asked to remove it promptly by their management and told that if I didnt I would be removed as a patient. After long consideration, I have also determined this clinic has little to no care for (or at least refuses to accommodate for) patients with diagnosed mental health problems such as ADHD. No appointment reminders, $35 (drastic!) late/cancellation fees.. these are features that even regular patients shouldnt have to request. We are patients, not consumers! The doctors may be fantastic, but the people managing this place are far from it.

I had the opportunity to work at this clinic as a student for a number of weeks. I was continually impressed by the efforts that staff put towards improving efficiency and the overall patient experience. Online bookings, same-day appointments, gorgeous environment, the list goes on.. highly recommend!

Dr. Oh is awesome. He comes prepared in advance to appointments, provides printouts with reference material as required, and generally seems knowledgeable and invested. Also, he is incredibly punctual which is a rarity for medical appointments in general. The only downside is it can be hard to get through on the phone. But with online bookings being an option, this hasn't been a major issue for us.
