Team was courteous, did a good job cleaning up after themselves. They didn't kill any of the plants in our gardens. I would definitely use this company again, but hopefully won't have to for a long time! UPDATE: I bought another house, and employed this company to do the roof on that house as well. They did a great job. A few months later there was a massively destructive "derecho" storm in our area, knocking trees over and causing damage to a lot of infrastructure. We didn't even lose one shingle from our new roof. I'd definitely recommend this company! Services: Roof installation, Skylight installation

We had Zach and his crew do our cottage roof a couple of weeks ago. They were great. The whole experience was positive, from booking the appointment on the phone with Lara to the cleanup after the job. When they did the work it was like a reverse hurricane - an incredible crash and clatter above us and then suddenly, a lovely new roof! No kidding, they were professional and courteous and fast. They left one little problem behind (a nail sticking through the roof deck where it ought not to have been) and Zach was back the next morning and had it fixed up. This was our first time using Above The Rest Roofing and we were not disappointed. Being such a big investment we wanted to make sure we did our homework. We gathered quotes from many companies in the area and after weighing up all the pros and cons we decided on ATRR. Their price was competitive and they were local, which meant a lot for us to support a local company especially in these times. While many of the quotes came in the form of a one sheet of paper with items listed on it, we were actually able to go into their offices in Perth and Lara walked through creating a quote with us there and then. She was able to pull our house up on the computer and estimate both the roof area, and as well as the number of peeks and valleys that we have. We asked if there was a need to visit the house to confirm the numbers and she said no. To their credit they stood by their quote and the price was never mentioned again. One of our concerns was that when they arrived on site we would have to renegotiate the price, but that never happened. Initially we got the quote last year, but then the weather came in and then Covid-19 hit so it wasn't until this summer that we again contacted them. They were kind enough to honour the price they gave last year, even though I'm sure there would have been a price increase in the New Year. Lara provided us with addresses of past installs so we could decide on which colour we wanted. Although they have samples in the office, there is no substitute for seeing it on a roof. It also gave us an opportunity to see the standard of their work. On the install day the first 2 guys arrived bright and early. Over the course of the next few hours more arrived and there was a constant hive of activity for the rest of the day. Our house has a lot of plants around it, and they places tarpaulins over everything which caught any stray bits of roofing that came down while they were working. At the end of the install, which only took one day, there was very little left behind. We did find the odd bit of shingle and a nail or two, but considering what they did and how much roofing the removed, this was inconsequential. All in all we were extremely happy with all the team. They were all very polite, courteous and hard working. We were very happy with the whole process from start to finish. Being able to sit down and talk things through with someone was much better for us, rather than standing on the front lawn while someone was trying to calculate the size of the roof and tell you what would be installed at the same time. Seeing things being calculated on the screen gave us much more confidence in the price we were given. We will be using them again without hesitation, but hopefully not for many many many years down the road (sorry ATTR). Service: Roof installation
