Kawartha Credit Union (KCU) has a rich community story that started back in 1952 and has since grown substantially in asset size and community reach, thanks to the support of former and current employees, senior leadership and board of directors, who collectively believed in the seven co-operative credit union principles. As a credit union member, I question if that commitment holds true going forward given the boards recent announcement and many other changes observed over the years. A Credit Union is not a small Bank! I recognize that Credit Unions must evolve to remain relevant given the changing needs of the community; however, they must strive to offer true value for members by providing a unique and viable alternative to Banks and other financial service providers, as was the case back in 1952! Special thanks to retired CEO Rob Wellstood for his dedication and leadership within the community, Kawartha Credit Union and for actively supporting the credit union movement.

Got a scam call from this number. I've never had anything to do with this place. You might want to check that out.

Very friendly people. Lots of smiles. But when it comes down to banking, lots of promises, very slow service. If they promise you something, it takes months for them to act.
