Can't say enough positive things about Dr. Beamish. Well respected and in demand family physician and palliative care specialist. I have seen him regularly (min. 4 times/year for the past couple of years, and as frequently as monthly for several years prior) and he has always, without fail, been both happy to see me and seemingly happy to be at work and helping his patients. He has never once been even remotely impatient or unpleasant in any way. Tests and prescription refills are managed quickly and efficiently (thanks also to his secretary Sherry and his nurse Mary), and I'm impressed that he has always reviewed not only my latest test results but reviewed, in detail, consultation letters sent by specialists. He clearly has an exuberant love of life, and I wish the very best for Dr. Beamish and his staff. I am going to guess that he is nearing 60 now (in 2015), and I certainly hope that he will be one of those physicians who continues to practice into their 70's and 80's, as he will be hard to replace.
