I am eternally grateful to have had Dr. Petrasek recently operate on my 99 year old mother. Id heard so many great things about him, and I now have first hand experience. He took the time to go over every detail with both my mother and myself, separately, out of his demanding schedule. His empathy in what we were facing, shone front and center. I have to honestly say, without hesitation, I felt my mother was in the best of hands. And todayshe was discharged from PRHC back home, with a smile on her face and a kick in her step! Dr. Petrasek performed a miracle.

This Dr is exemplory in everyway. What surgeon calls you at home and talks out every question you have. His demeanour or bedside manner is calming and oozes with experience. He is a good surgeon too and is respected as such from fellow doctors and nurses at PRHC. He fixed my hernia and recently operated on my mother in law. Thank goodness it was him. He has spend a lot of time on consulting with my wife, her daughter on the phone about her mother, dementia and how to proceed in the future.
