Hideaway Trailer Park

I'm on my third year of owning a spot here. Most people in the park are very friendly and always give a wave when driving by. The owner of the park has been pretty fair to me and has fixed any issues I've brought to his attention. The annual fee is almost on par to close by parks. I've enjoyed every weekend/week I've spent here.

Made reservations well in advance. Reserved 2 sites. It was a 6 hour car ride for us to get there. Upon arrival I was informed that one of my reserved sites was (intentionally) given to someone else??? Having paid already I asked for a refund on my reserved site that was given to someone else. They said, "sorry no refunds"???. Stay away from this place, it was not a nice place and access to the water is impossible as the water front and docks are all owned by renters. Step on the docks or their property and you get an ear full. Sandbanks is the place to be in this area so try to get into Sandbanks and avoid this place. Does not even deserve 1 star but that is the lowest I can give it.

Had a nice weekend camping at Hideaway park with a few families with children. The owners were very accommodating pleasant. The grounds are very clean. There is a playground for little kids, otherwise tonnes of space for games of all kinds. Sandbanks are close by for a great beach experience as well!

I had a beautiful relaxing week that reignited my love for camping. Will definitely be going back next year.
