I stayed at the Bartwood manor for a much needed reprise. I was greeted with big smiles by Mitch and Cody. Once escorted to my beautiful, well designed suite, they showed me around the gardens and ponds. We picked fresh berries off the bushes, I ate apples off the tree and relaxed in one of their many seating areas. I quickly fell in love with Newt their house pig, and the many beautiful chickens and animal that reside in their back yard. I came for a relaxed weekend and got just that. The stillness I felt at Bartwood can not compare with anywhere Ive come across in my travels. If anyone wants a welcoming and peaceful space to lay their heads and relax their minds I highly recommend Bartwood manor and the wonderful caretakers Mitch and Cody!

When arriving at the stunning Manor, located in a small charming village, we were greeted by very friendly hosts that explained and answered any questions we had, as well as suggested local sites to explore during our stay. An added bonus to my delight was that the suite was supplied with fresh fruit, vegetables and eggs from their very own hens along with some sweet snacks & drinks to re-energize after taking a hike at the suggested waterfalls. While visiting this beautiful Manor not only did I thoroughly enjoy the architecture (that has been preserved with a modern touch) and beautifully decorated suite but one of the big surprises was tucked inside a fenced in area, past the porch swing that looks onto the breath taking landscaped gardens, arbors, pergolas, and stunning ponds that bring back a whimsical energy of a favorite childhood book "the secret garden". While relaxing in the many the seating areas available throughout the yard, there's a huge sectional with a fireplace overlooking the pond & waterfall with birds singing all around you. Calmness and serenity overtakes you while just living in the present moment. I recommend this place 100% for a get-away from the busy, fast paced city life to enjoy the calmness and to recharge yourself. Enjoy the beautiful scenery in the area from exploring waterfalls, hiking a cliff or just enjoying the sunset and night sky on the beach close by. A most wonderful adult getaway!

Had an amazing stay with Mitch and Cody, by far some of the most amazing people and hosts out there. (and ive traveled a lot all over the world ) Booked for a relaxing birthday getaway weekend and they did not disappoint. From check in to check out they made sure everything was perfect and comfortable. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone . Thank you guys so much for a great experience
