Light fixtures not centered over bathroom cabinet, even though markings on floor show where cabinet would be going. Light switches are different for every room. Some on the left. Some on the right. Switches are different distant from door frame on each switch. No consistency. Derek works from 9:30 to 2:30 most days, then complains how much gas is to drive to the site. Perhaps an 8 hour day would help. When outlets go out, he blames the customer saying you are not happy. Complains amount money constantly even when you pay him saying he did not get paid from the last job, so he needs the money from you earlier than agreed. Once paid in full (no holdback for 30 days) you do not hear or see from him again. The money is all he cares about, not how the job turns out.

After spending all summer trying to find a local electrician willing to come out and do a small job that needed to be done before I could start up my furnace this fall, I was at my wits end. Of the few who bothered to return my calls, none actually showed up, or came by without calling first to find us not at home...and all eventually told us they were too busy and to call back if we couldn't find someone else to do the job. Finally, with the first frost not too far off, I put out a desperate plea on social media and a friend suggested I call Derrick. He returned my call right away, and was empathetic to the situation. He made time in his schedule to come out, and had the problem resolved the same day, at a very reasonable rate. I am beyond grateful and would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone in need of reliable, courteous, and prompt service.
