        A public place where you can find Historical information about Providence Bay, Fishing in this island and a lot more. There is a visitor information area with some crafty items and memorable gifts as well. You can buy coffee and small snacks and enjoy in summer and winter days by having a little walk along side the beach.

        Open daily in July and August. You may use public washroom in this centre when you enjoy summer time at the beach. You can learn the history of Providence Bay in the Discovery Centre. There are various displays. You have chance to know the local culture and environment. Ice cream shop, "Huron Island Time", offer Farquhars and Nestle ice cream cone, huge and great. You can buy coffee or tea in this shop, if you get tired and sleepy. The staff was great.
