Honestly, I will never forget the first time I saw this in person, or the goosebumps I had. I dont know exactly why but I was pretty well completely speechless seeing both such a monster of a locomotor and a piece of history so perfectly rolled into one. I had so many questions running through my mind at once. I wonder what the whistle sounded like? If this beast could talk, what would it have to say, I wonder? I wonder what it was like both hearing and seeing this engine in action. Some Im sure have experienced this for real, and they are so very lucky. A true piece of history, and so great to see it being treasured and taken care of. I almost feel rude referring to this as an it because it feels so much more than a mere object or a thing. Props to this town for keeping your history alive and well.
