I cannot stress enough how absolutely wonderful the staff at this Drive Test location are! I took my test with John, he was incredibly professional and fair. Even if I hadnt passed, I would still be writing a shining review for all the employees here. It was well worth the drive from Ottawa to receive such pleasant service. Thank you all again!

Well I failed my G test. Honestly I drive daily and have drove over 200,000km in 2 years. I have drove downtown Toronto, Montreal and always Ottawa. I'm a very comfortable driver. I had John as a driving instructor honestly I was shocked when he told me I didn't meet the requirements. Considering I have no tickets or accidents and I'v had a my G2 twice and have so much experience I was blown away. I now have to get my G2 for a third time as there are no more available days anywhere in Ontario. I was reading the reviews and got really nervous. I read to try and be verbal with your mirror checks. If ever you take the test make sure you don't verbally say anything you are doing !!! It honestly made him upset So please just don't say a word and listen to but don't speak too much. I also slowed down too much at the pedestrian cross walk. He said if nobody is there you don't slow down. I also dropped my speed to 79km for a split second in the 90km highway zone. He said I merged at 90km which was perfect but if you go under 80km you will fail. I will be heading back here tomorrow so I can write my G1 and I'm also doing my G2 road test here again because I have something to prove. I'll see you soon John. EDIT Jan 23, 2023 I had to redo my G1 Jan 4, 2023 at the Ottawa location. I booked my G2 for Jan 18, 2023 at the Ottawa location and got it with no problems. The instructor told me I was an amazing Driver and was curious how I failed my G test. If your from Ottawa just do your road test out here it's so much better.

Ive been waiting and even called with no answer as the test centre was supposed to be open at 2pm. Its now 2:31pm and they still havent opened.
