Maria Danko is a top notch realtor! Finding her was a huge blessing for us. With the crazy housing market and very unprofessional practices out there, Maria is a breath of fresh air, a reminder of how things should be. She is determined and really works in your interest. She quickly understood what mattered to us and gave us honest and unambiguous advise on what we could afford, what to look out for, funds we would need at each stage, and of course, her assessment of the properties we viewed. She was not pushy but still very much on top of the game, encouraging us along the way. We got in contact with Maria after my wife found her on Google. During our first meeting, I must admit that I was a bit skeptical because she sounded too good to be true. But guess what? She did even better than she said! Once we went to view the first two properties, it became clear to us that we could trust Maria to work in our best interest and guide us to the right home. Also, her previous experience in the construction industry was a huge assess especially in the frenzied market where assessments were virtually impossible. I remember us getting excited at one viewing but Maria was quick to point us past the deceptive deco to the real issues with the property. You need an agent like that before ending up buying rubbish and paying a premium for it! In total, we viewed about 7 properties and made just one offer which fortunately went through (what a huge blessing!). It was a stressful process for us being first-time buyers and Maria's tactical approach was definitely instrumental to our success. She advised us to write a love letter along with our offer (which the seller later confirmed "did it" when they were torn between ours and another offer). She also encouraged us to be present on site on the offer date, which we did. It was rainy, somewhat frustrating (the seller's agent was not as professional and forthright) but ultimately I believe that being there also contributed to us getting the place. That's what an expert like Maria does for you, they guide you on how best to improve your chances. Maria does not just focus on getting you a home, she looks beyond that. Thanks to her, we were prepared for every step of the process, had the funds ready at the right time and post-purchase, she offered us tips and tricks and access to services that helped us organize our move. And Maria was tough when the seller's side was being sloppy. One thing to note is that Maria is sensitive to anything that suggest you do not trust her. I believe this because there are many bad eggs in the industry and she does not want to be associated with unprofessionalism. Don't take my word for it, give her a chance and you will not regret it. We didn't! Hats off to you, Maria. The industry needs more people like you!

I think the main reason that I chose to work with Maria was that she focused on me. She understood my situation, my needs, and then went above and beyond. She made my experience as a first time home buyer truly memorable. Maria is lovely, she can relate to many situations her clients may face and will strive to make their home buying experience great. The way I refer to Maria at home with family...is as if she is family. She accommodated in so many ways, she explained her negotiation strategy and adjusted to my input too. I cannot thank Maria enough for all her help!!

Maria helped us find our first home in Canada!! We saw more than 20 houses with her in person and more than 100 listings online. Maria was always patient and provided her best advice. Maria is not only highly experienced in real estate but also has a skillset pertaining to construction. She can always do a quick scan and advise if the quality of construction or upgrades is up to the mark. Maria is honest and will ask you to walk away from a house if she feels it's not right for you. In conclusion, we found her services to be of utmost quality and she was always willing to go an extra mile for us. Will definitely recommend her to my family or friends.

During our first zoom meeting, Maria did an insightful and detail presentation explaining key components of the real estate market (the many steps and strategies to promote a successful sale). After this initial presentation, we knew we wanted to work with Maria; she was just the right person for us. Her extensive experience and knowledge was evident immediately from our first conversation with her. Maria is extremely professional, thoughtful, warm, and a great person, we were very impress by her honesty and integrity.
