I would highly recommend Darmaga Hardwood. Their sale's and service are second to none. My salesman Andy Bound went above and beyond to help me with a mismatched colour nosing. Even as far as calling me on his day off to make arrangements to swap for the correct colour right at the factory. Many thanks. Why 3 stars when this company has a rating of 4.4 at this time, Ill explain. Had them come in to measure my house, agreed in price and ordered wood also charged me to move furniture as I lived in the house. Had to wait a long time because was on back order..not their fault. Wood finally arrived and booked a date, they showed up, after about half an hour they saw my closet with the carped removed and they said this is not in the price given. How can it be, they said its not and even if we wanted to add it in we dont have enough wood. Called Darmaga and they confirmed that they didnt price that although I told them to when they came in to measure. So now THEY MEASURED AND ORDERED THE WOOD FOR ME. They did the install, left quite of few blue marks in my freshly painted walls and chewed up the first step of my freshly renovated stairs and didnt miter all the quarter round..oh I also moved about 80% of the furniture and was told because they touched 20% of they still had to charge me full price.. Ok I said Im not going to be too picky with the marks on the walls and first step etc, so I left it. Now for the 3 starts. I finally got around to install the wood in my closet, I waited a few months because I had to cut the wood and leave garage door open didnt want to do it inside. They ordered 3 boxes of wood and I only used 2, I have 1 unopened box, now remember they measured and ordered the wood for me. So I called them and explained that I had a box left and THAT they measured the closet so I asked can I return itthey said NO its a special order so we cant take it back ( they can sell this in a minute since there are on back order for months). I explained that it was them who measured NOT me.they said it dont matter because it says special order on the invoice. They have been around for many years and personally I think this is not very good customer service, they should have taken responsibility for the mistake and authorized the refund. I for sure will not be recommending them or using them in the future.
