We recently purchased a Melanie Construction home and could not be happier! This is the only builder (that I know of) that lets you visit the house at any time throughout the building process. You can tell they take pride in their homes by looking at the quality and workmanship. Julien and his team truly built our dream home and exceeded all of our expectations. We've been in our home for 1 month and the after care has been amazing so far. We are truly impressed with their service. If you are researching different builders, look no further than Melanie Construction if you want a quality build and excellent service from start to finish!

We purchased our home in 2011 and our experience dealing with Julien Patenaude was a very easy and smooth process. We have built new homes with three different builders - Tartan, Urbandale, and now Melanie Construction. There is absolutely zero comparison - Z.E.R.O. We built a custom home from one of the base plans. We made so many changes including structural ones and Julien and Renee embraced our changes and their pricing was definitely fair and reasonable. I work as an engineering consultant and have experience in construction and can confirm that any changes are priced accurately and fairly. But material is only one component of a new home build. Construction quality is as important as the materials to be used - I would say even more important. The contractors they use have been with them for decades. They take pride in their craft. Small things like rounded corners for drywall, proper electrical terminations and labelling, walkthroughs during construction to ask questions or where contractors want to double check with you before it gets installed. I could go on with a long list of reasons why you should choose Melanie Construction. Let me put it this way - we had three items on our 30 day list. The day we submitted them, they scheduled the work the same week. Seriously - show me one other home builder that only has 3 things on their 30 day then fixes them the same week. If you want the best quality home, customizable at a fair price, with great communication and top notch customer services and after sales support, Renee, Julien at Melanie Construction cannot be beat. And let's not forget the other amazing professional - Valerie - in the design centre - she is going to help you make your dream come true and has a great eye for design. Julien has gone above and beyond to ensure he built our perfect home that fit our wants and needs. Melanie Construction is an incredible builder that takes pride in their work and amazing care of their clients. All trades that worked on our home surpassed all expectations. Scheduling on the build seems to be timed perfectly. We absolutely love our new home!
