Why do I recommend Mufflerman in Sarnia? Well, because they do what nobody else does ... they care about the person calling them !!!! My van (a Kia Sedona) was still relatively new when, one morning, I could not give it a start. The CAA mechanic was quite sure the problem was in the starter. I called Lambton Kia (the vehicle was still covered by warranty), who demanded nearly a month just to run a diagnosis and confirm whether the warranty would pay for the repairs or not. I couldn't wait that long ... So I called some other auto repair shops in Sarnia, but no one would even listen to me without and appointment (usually for 2 weeks later) ... them I call Mufflerman ! Mike not only listened to my problem but offer to help me within his limits (he was also fully booked for a month). He explained he could not run a full diagnosis (he didn't have available personnel to do it), but that he would replace the starter on the following day, as long as I was willing to accept the risk of doing so without testing everything first ... and I was ready to take my chances. I got the car working beautifully that same afternoon ... the price was fair and I didn't discuss it ... but to be honest, I would have paid 10 times the value on the invoice for some who really CARES about people's difficulties!
