I've been a car dealer and vehicle appraiser for years. Recently I purchased a vehicle for personal use. The ownership was in both husband and wifes names. This service ontario office would not allow me to change it into my name. Here's why. Both people had signed it and as their names were long it didn't all fit in the box! That's right some was outside the tiny little box! Now what am I too do? I have an ownership thats been written on outside the box. I can't get a hold of the old owners, and I'm worried that by the time I can sort this out they could still borrow money against it. And then theirs the six day ownership change law. No where does the ownership say "DON'T WRITE OUTSIDE THE BOX". The manager here needs to quit and go back to school.

Other than having to make two trips because they apparently can't change your health card address without a piece of mail showing the new address. Even tho they changed my driver's license, no problem, but that was kind of my fault for not being fully prepared & besides neither time was a long wait and once I had the proper paperwork it went pretty smoothly. No trouble at all.
