Shopping around for snowblower in 2020, found a Toro at box store on sale, called Superior and to my surprise they had a similar model (also a Toro Powermax 826 but beefier version) at roughly same price as the box stores sale price. They were very competitive and they clearly explained the subtle details / differences in the various models. I bought it that day. Recently I had a problem with the machine so I dropped it off on a Friday afternoon, expecting some downtime, but got a call the following Monday late morning, fixed under warranty. Another pleasant surprise. Anyway, if this is an indication of the integrity and service level at this shop, with new owners, then I would highly recommend giving them a try.
