La Bastille Boulangerie Patisserie

The fruit danishes are better than any other bakery Ive tried in Toronto, and Ive tried most of em. They also have a pillow soft baguette that is really nice. The coffee machine is a Nespresso, so if youre a purist and like a real espresso, you may want to get your coffee elsewhere.

Discovered this hidden gem last night (google search for croissant) and had to go first thing this morning. Its an adorable bakery with incredibly fresh and delicious products. The plain croissant, pain au chocolate, almond croissant were light, flaky, with the perfect texture. The cheese scone was delicious. Excited to have this boulangerie/patisserie in our neighbourhood.

I abstained from having carbs for over a month to be able to feast on all the delicious baked goods on my birthday. It was a fantastic decision as everything on the menu was amazing. I had ordered a good selection of tasty treats for my special day and let me tell you I was not disappointed. Well done! Will definitely be returning.
