A.G.M Medical Center

This is one of the most unprofessional places I have been. They take appointments but do not serve their patient in time, wait times are up to 2 hours after your appointment time. The two receptionist are extremally unprofessional and at times yell at the patients while speaking on the phone. They have given me an appointment for a Time period and once I have arrived they say "the doctor is on their lunch break" and I am expected to wait 2 hours for them to return. Additionally there have been issues with client confidentiality as the discussions with your doctor is often brought up in various other conversations that break patient confidentiality.

Ive been coming to this clinic for 2 decades ( if not more ) and felt I needed to share how amazing Dr. Siva Mahesan and Dr. Gloria Mahesan truly are, alongside their daughter Dr. Thea Mahesan who is also practicing out of the office now as well. . I had a full circle moment 8.5 months ago when dr. Mahesan helped deliver my baby boy ! I had a traumatic first delivery experience and I must say my pregnancy, delivery and post partum care with all 3 of them has been nothing but exceptional. The most professional, patient, kind and understanding clinic I have ever been too. I have seen patients take their kindness for granted by demanding appointments on the spot, walking in as they wish, requiring documents and rxs signed on demand. They do it with a smile and never turn anyone away. Thats kindness to another level. If this was any other clinic, the drs would make you wait 3-4 business days before they even consider signing off on anything. I would never change my drs office no matter how far I go. Thank you for being the most amazing MD office in the GTA and for taking such good care of your entire community !

I am really unsure where to begin my story. I try to look at situations from both sides before I pass any judgement. In this case, I went to A.G.M Medical Center with my girlfriend who is currently pregnant. What we witnessed was beyond surprising and to the extent that my girlfriend and I felt we should get up and leave. While we were sitting in the waiting room It appeared that someone had called into the doctors office. We came to realize after that it was a patient of the A.G.M Medical Centre, who had been a patient there for over 20 years. The receptionist answered the call in speaker and the whole waiting room full of people were able to hear the conversation. The Patient on the phone was inquiring about a medical issue that they been dealing with for years. The patient had called in to get an update on her medical report that she was waiting on from her family doctor Dr.Mahasen. She asked the receptionist if an update had arrived and the receptionist rudely stated we will call you when we have the time. The Patient responded by asking how long it would take so that she can seek medicine if she so required it. Overhearing the conversation from the next room, Dr.Mahasen, came into the reception area and replied on behalf of the receptionist to the patient stating youre the only client I have that health issues can not be resolved, dont keep calling or else I can have your file with us removed so youre no longer our patient When my girlfriend and I heard this, we were in shock. The patient on the phone was dead silent. This made us uncomfortable and was terrible to witness and this is why we left the office. My girlfriend has been a patient here for about 9 years and once this situation took place she has decided never to go back again. Our hearts went out to the patient on the phone and we hope that she finds a good caring doctor for what ever medical issues she is facing. With this kind of treatment its a possibility that she may be having unresolved health issues for years because the doctor hasnt treated her properly. God bless her.
