i spent 9 days here in September. I should have written earlier. THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO!!! i have been fishing Lake of the Woods for 30 years. I have never been here before but i sure wish we had come here. The staff was so accommodating and friendly and got their jobs done without hesitation or question. Real quality people working there. The dock guys were great, food and wait staff the BEST i have ever experienced. The food was so good, we could not believe it. We did the American plan and had more food, quality food, than we ever seen. And the lunches they made us, cause we are musky hunters and were not there for walleye, were again the best ever. Huge solid turkey or ham sandwiches-thick with meat and great options on the bread. I mean, no think cheapo sandwiches at this place. The rooms were super clean-not one spider web anywhere. The Bathrooms were super clean and every day they were cleaned to perfection. Really made the trip special. And yeah, the musky fishing was killer. I caught my first 50 incher which i had been trying to catch for 30 years. Other guys there were catching all the walleye they wanted. This was the middle of September. Weather was warmer than expected--but the rooms we had were air conditioned. This is the place--you get what you pay for and we felt it was totally worth it. Thank you to everyone who helped us. GM was the best and helped with anything we asked for.

No doubt Wiley Point Lodge is the No. 1 place to stay for the best LOTW has to offer. Fishing for musky and walleye is unsurpassed. Expert guide Marc Lalonde had us novices netting two nice musky, including a 48" beauty the first morning! Top accommodations and food. Service is great. Wiley Point GM Terra Albany is a gem. Totem Resorts has it all.
