Boomtown Fusion Eatery

We went there on a last second decision on a Saturday night. It was quiet, and we were seated quickly. Our server took our drink and food order fairly quickly. I think then she went for a break, and the person covering brought out ne tables food and then no one say a server for 15 to 20 minutes. Our food was good and fresh, good but not something I would recommend specifically to anyone as it is also forgettable. The restaurant was clean and if they had any art on the walls might be interesting. It is OK. I would not recommend against going there, I just don't know if I would ever remember to recommend it if anyone asked for a place to eat in Smith Falls

Gorgeous diner, Had a really peaceful dinner at Boomtown last night with my boyfriend! He ordered the house special pizza, AMAZING with the garlic dip!!! I had the veggie stir fry and it was sooo boujee!! 5 service, adorable waitress and great management!!!

Excellent food, excellent service! Good variety of selections on the menu; two of my favorites are the Sri Lankan fried rice and the butter chicken pizza. The boomtown burger is also very good. Always a treat to pick up some takeout from this place. Hats off to the chef and the owners!

Took my wife to BoomTown for mothers day, ice machine was broken so our drink came with one ice cube each which dissolved in a matter of 1 minute. Served tap water in a glass bottle with a reusable cork top, we ordered the mothers day special so that was two steaks a salad and cheese cake which we never got to try to let you know how it was due to the situation, both steaks came over cooked i asked for mine to be medium rare and it came out well done my wife ordered well done but it came out dry and well well done, our salads were weird but edible thankfully really pretty salads but weird to taste, we ordered a boomtown platter which has chicken strips, speared deep fried pickles onion rings and fries, chicken fingers and pickles were great, onion rings were pretty much ash fries were absolutely soggy. When confronted about the the food being really bad the waitress told me that the fries are fresh but have sat out since this morning so they are sitting in their oils from being blanched in room temperature. They brought the fix it steaks out and they were also cooked wrong and our stomachs were already not feeling good from eating the food they have already served us being so full of deep fryer oil. The entire time we sat there we hear a microwave go off about 13 times i told them i will pay for what we have ate but i will not pay for the stuff we will not eat. Total bill came to $112 for over cooked meat soggy fries singed onion rings a beautiful salad that tastes odd i told him id pay for what we ate and drank about 4 times and he said you guys need to leave right now saying its free but acting like he wanted to get in an altercation with an angry face shaking hands and crossing them at the table saying that i should have told him i wouldnt eat the second steaks that were over cooked before we received them. Beautiful dinning area but poor service wish i could post the pictures i took because they are absolutely disgusting We went to A&W I'm which my wife didn't even want anything because of our stomachs hurting.
