Great items at good prices for those of us in need of good,wearable clothing and household items. Staff are friendly and I recommend shopping here.I dont reccomend the Perth store as some of their prices are way too high

I usually don't post bad reviews but this situation really ticked me off. I am in the process of moving into a Condo that I just purchased. I have to do major downsizing. So far, I've done at least 4 trailer full of different items varying from dishes, small appliances, decorations etc. All in excellent condition but just too many to bring to the Condo. Saturday was the attic cleaning. We went to the Smiths Falls location to drop off our first of many trailer load for that day, full of Christmas decorations (3 trees, numerous decorations and lights) All in perfect condition. Arriving at the store, we were greeted by a not so friendly gentleman with facial hair, advising us that they did not take any Christmas items as it was not the season yet ???? Excuse me...I'm donating the stuff. Sorry for not moving in the middle of December when my decorations would be "in season". One would think that being a charitable organisation, they would take all donations. We turned around and delivered the trailer load plus numerous others to "The Score". We were greeted with enthusiasm and they gladly accepted our "Christmas" decorations and much more with a smile. I will NEVER again give anything to Salvation Army and I will... with a smile...tell my experience to all who will listen. Even one star is too much :-(
