Rented a standard 17 foot kevlar canoe for a trip on Nahma Lake. The canoe we got was brand new and sleek, and the staff was helpful with our trip. The only complaint I have is that they do not provide foam and straps to transport the canoe. To their credit they did offer to bring it down for a fee, but not including foam and straps was unexpected and inconvenient. The store was also jam packed with useful gear and clothing, would definitely rent here again!

We had an amazing 5 day 4 night family adventure with Voyager Quest, despite the weather! The 2 nights canoeing and camping was fab and Thade was an amazing guide. I would not recommend taking kids younger that 7 or 8 on this though as it was hard work, especially in the rain! The 2 nights in the log cabin afterwards were much needed luxury and all the staff were amazing. We had such a fab time, thank you all so much!

We had our elopement at the Algonquin Island Retreat in June 2022 and had an excellent experience working with the staff at Voyageur Quest. They were so accommodating and helpful, including getting us set up with our own motorboat rental. The views from island are just stunning, we couldnt have asked for a better location! The island is cozy, and the cabin is beautiful, clean, well appointed, comfortable, and secluded. Kitchen has all tools you would need. We stayed for an additional two nights and enjoyed spending time out on the deck, swimming, fishing, and watching the sunset and nature. The deck from the bedroom is perfect for morning coffee. The views to the outside from inside the cabin are equally wonderful and cozy. We cant recommend it enough.

We did the 3 day guided canoe trip (couple from UK) in early July. We were part of a group of 8 comprised of couples, family with child and a solo adventurer, Europeans and a Canadian. All people seemed to enjoy and get a lot out of the trip. I recommend the trip very highly. Kelly our guide was great. Very experienced, knowledgeable, friendly and attentive - an all around good guy. We stayed at the Lakeside Cabin at the Canoe Outpost the night before and he was kind enough to come and drive us to a spot where he had spotted a moose, before the trip had even officially started. He also helped us with first aid after the trip had ended when we had a bleedy accident with the boot (or trunk if you prefer) of the car and a forehead. Communications with the office before the trip was good, with all questions answered. The trip was generally as advertised on the website and was a fantastic experience as hoped. We spent two nights on the shores of Craig Lake and it was absolutely beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. I especially enjoyed the song of the loons (or divers in UK) on our morning paddle. The trip is generally relaxing and not too energetic with one exception - the portages. For the uninitiated this does involve carrying very heavy packs and canoes between lakes. Even over the relatively short distances it is heavy work. That said it's not obligatory if you don't feel fit and strong enough. The Lakeside Cabin at the Canoe Outpost was again as advertised. The early morning on the lake in July was stunningly beautiful. Otherwise basic and rustic but there are pit toilets with doors and even hot showers. The price was very fair - though the evening meal and breakfast at the outfitters was not cheap - almost more than the accommodation. We found it handy and convenient to stay there the night before the trip - things felt less rushed for the departure.
