        EDITED: THIS BUSINESS IS OUT OF BUSINESS. We called Mudge's when we moved to St Thomas in the winter of 2015. The man on the phone (not the owner) was beyond helpful, explaining modern washing machines to me and giving advice and his personal experience. I was a laundromat user, and then we had a little portable washer that only my partner knew the mysteries of - when I pointed for Mudge's installer to give his explanations to the guy in the room because I didn't do laundry, he was bemused and said "that's unusual". ;) We bought a front-load washer and dryer set, had a minor problem with the dryer that was serviced immediately, and have used them very happily with no troubles ever since. I can't speak to anyone else's experience, but mine was very happy.
