When I searched online for a place to take my car for an oil change and tire rotation, it looked like Nissan had an online booking option, which I was excited about. I filled out all the info and then it said I would receive a phonecall. I got a voicemail and I called back to book in. The person who answered was friendly and didn't make me feel like it was silly that I didn't know what I was talking about. We even had a good giggle. They explained clearly where I should go for my appointment time and that helped my anxiety as I pulled in. I opted to wait for the hour but then was told I had some maintenance that was needed that would take another 2-3hrs. I was shuttled home and told I'd get a call when my car was ready. I didn't wait around at home as I had plans, thinking my car was only going to be an hour originally. 6hrs after my original appt time, I was super nervous that I hadn't heard from them, so I went home and luckily, that's when the shuttle came back for me. I was told that Nissan didn't have my number, so they had sent the young man back to my house several times already. Considering I had filled out my number in what I thought was the online booking, I had received a phonecall and I had called to book in, I'm not sure how that's possible. But, technology isn't perfect. With luck (and my anxiety) on my side, I was able to get my car before they closed. I would have given 5 stars if not for the misleading online booking and the loss of my phone number, resulting in a day without my car. My advice to new car owners is to always check that they have your number on file.
