My apartment is currently up for rent and the owner chose to use remax to rent it. The agent that listed our apartment Martin Trethewey attempted to enter the unit twice without notice. We contacted the owner and both us and the owner agreed 24 hours notice is a must. Martin attempted to come through the unit again with 3 hours notice. When my wife and I refused entry he contacted the owner and claimed we were being difficult and that is the reason he wasn't able to rent the unit over the two and a half months he had been trying.

So Martin Trethuey was the selling agent on a property we purchased in St Thomas. The listing had listed in the MLS itself as well as on realtor.ca that the home had Central Vac as feature, when we advised our agent that we wondered where the central vac was she called Martin and had him on speaker and we heard him say that it was his mistake as he did NOT proof the MLS listing before it went live. He then told her when she identified the home may not close unless this was fixed for us to give it to our lawyer and if our lawyer felt we were entitled he would come good for it. Our lawyer sent a letter advising he felt we .were entitled to the central vac only for Martin to deny he said it and denied having the conversation with our agent. We the purchasers are now out and no one, not Martin or Our own agent came good for any of this, very disappointed. Seller also took a flag pole that was cemented into the front yard and no recourse for this either. Very disappointed to have agents so dishonest once the commissions are already paid
