Went there yesterday, and order the fried chicken and waffles Benedict. It was honestly inedible... I almost got sick. The waffle was underdone, it was soggy in the middle and tasteless. The poached eggs were way overcooked, and the chicken was just not good. I barely ate two bites. The server just took it away, but didn't offer to comp the meal, which clearly should've been done. I don't know how Wimpy's survives with this poor quality of food. It felt like everything was bought frozen from the grocery store and just microwaved. My partner ordered a burger, but said he would've been better off going to McDonald's across the street. I will never eat at Wimpy's again for as long as I shall live.

First time going to the St. Thomas Wimpy's; will not bring going back or recommend. Disappointed in the wait for our food. The place was packed, the servers were excellent n doing their job, but the kitchen staff seemed slow in preparing dishes. Hardly any noise or movement was noted from the kitchen; there seemed to be no hustle from the kitchen staff. There was a period of over 20mins before any plates were brought to the next tables who had only ordered a basic breakfast meal. We eventually asked if our order could be a takeout order instead, which was then brought out sooner than the 3 tables that ordered before us.

Will never go back! We waited two hours to eat from the moment we walked in the door. (11:15am) We waited 5 minutes for a table...yep no big deal. Then waited 30 minutes for our order to be taken (according to our recept our order went in at 12:05pm) We didn't get our food until 1:15pm. My husband had to leave to take my daughter to work(so much for a mother's day lunch with my family), so she missed lunch and when he got back we still didn't have our food. Finally we did and my toast was cold, the bill was wrong. My husband tried to talk to the owner who was rude. People who came in after us were served there food first! It wasn't that we order steak! We ordered one omelette , and to sandwiches (not burgers..ham with peameal bacon with cheese) with fries. My mother's day is now ruined because my husband and children (and myself) are so upset. Oh there was no sorry or how can we make this right or any! Just rudeness.
