Nose to The Grindstone Sharpening and Blade Shop

Very poor experience. DO NOT RECOMMEND! Dropped-off several items for sharpening on a Thursday, one item dealt with satisfactorily after an hour wait, the rest promised for the next day. Paid in advance for everything. Drove 72 km home. Called several times Friday to advise that I couldnt return until Saturday morning. Calls not picked-up, no voice mail on the business line, so unable to leave a message. Tried to call several times on Saturday morning. Again, calls not picked-up. Drove to St. Thomas to retrieve $200.00 worth of tools only to discover that they had not been attended to. Meek and pathetic apology offered. No refund for incomplete work that was paid for in advance. Lesson learned! Heres yours, find someone else to sharpen your tools!

John sharpened 3 of our garden tools and we are very pleased with the result. He's a perfectionist at his work. Price is fair . I would highly recommend him and will return again should we require his services. We live almost an hour away and we would still return to him. A nice friendly guy too.

Best hand sharpener you'll find, way better than machine ground, had a knife with a crack in it and you can't tell where it was, excellent and professional service

John does a great job on sharpening knives, more than pleased with his work Will definitely be back when I need anything sharpened Prices are very reasonable Thanks!
