Horrible customer service, had a simple question because my distributors sales staff is out and has been for personal reasons for a while with no way to get updates on my order. Called IR to ask for a simple updated on if something has shipped or will soon and they would not even allow me to speak with anyone as a contractor selling their equipment. Ill take my business elsewhere and sell different equipment if theyre not willing to speak with someone who sales/installs their equipment.

This was once a reliable product until it was taken over by one of the family members who is running the company to the ground. First, they raised their pricing significantly overnight and in addition to there is no quality control. Some components are either missing and they dont match the units.

I just replaced my worn out stamped concrete patio with a larger paver stone version with a retaining wall. I wanted to extend the season and even my cooler summer night patio use with a patio heater. I did a LOT of research into various heater models. Distilled down, Evenglo had the best quality and features, especially the electric start that utilizes a 24V AC transformer and a natural gas model that works beautifully. IR Energy was very helpful with a few questions I had along the way relative to wiring - I did all the installation work myself because I know it will be done right and far beyond code requirements without costing me an extra $1000 and sitting around waiting for contractors to show up. I also had a unique setup situation and unique = more expensive. I really like the model GA301 functionality, build quality and appearance. I bought the all stainless version and it's exceptionally well manufactured. My neighbor has one of those flame tube heaters that cost about $400 and all he does is chase 20 pound propane tanks. Natural gas is the only way to go if you have access to a natural gas line. Overall, Evenglo/IR Energy makes an outstanding product matched with outstanding support. Based on first hand experience with every aspect of installation and assembly, I can recommend Evenglo/IR Energy products without any caveats.

When I purchased a patio heater from IR Energy I was concerned that since I reside in the US that it would be difficult to purchase replacement parts. Not to worry, I simply made a phone call, explained the problem and within a very short period of time the replacement parts were delivered to my home in Washington, DC. Job well done!

Simply the best outdoor heater money can buy... used several propane models previously with nothing but disappointment after 6 months. Researched every heater on the market and no other was even close. 3 years later... All 4 of my heaters look and run like new... Amazing!!!!
