my childhood corner store is closing for good in november. nothing will be the same without that corner store. youre probably thinking "oh its just a corner store", but that corner store meant everything to me. that corner store was there for me more than my own family. where did i go when i needed to get away from the bad things? the corner store. where did i go when i was upset? the corner store. where did i go with my friend every time we hung out? the corner store. what was the place i was given 20 bucks to go walk and pick up snacks? the corner store. at least the corner store was there for me when no one else wasnt. it gave me a reason to go out. now itll be gone by november, and itll take me a very long time to get over it. nothing compares to the sweet man who always enjoyed my company, how much patience he had. his amazing wife with a heart of gold. all the times when i was short a dollar he let it go and he was always there for me with a big smile on his face, that place means the world to me. and im gonna continue growing up and everytime i look at that corner store, ill be reminded of how much i really appreciated that couple and how much they did for their customers. i just lost a big part of me that i never knew i had until now, from. the bottom of my heart, i will always and forever thank them for all the kind things they have done. but at least im taking a beautiful leather jacket with me as a great memory of my absolute favorite store, i will forever be thankful, and i respect their descision. i hope they live a long and happy life, i hope everything good for them, i hope they wake up and say what a great day to be alive. because they are one of the most perfect, amazing people ever. and i will never forget them, till the day i die. -the girl with long brown hair

I was cycling around the area when my gloves, wet from sweat and the sudden rain, caused my hands to freeze. Luckily, I came across this store and Paul Lin gave me paper towels to dry my hands, lent me his heater, and even made me coffee. The store sold gloves and I bought a new pair for my ride back home. I'm trully grateful to Paul for his kindness - he and his store basically saved my day!
