Servus Stratford

After spending the day in Stratford we stayed here for the night. What a wonderful location. We woke up to a slight snowfall which made the place look magical! Toby was a wonderful host and the breakfast was delightful. If you are looking for a place to stay in Stratford, I would highly recommend this place! And have the PB&J smoothie!

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Servus Stratford. We went on an overnight trip to the Stratford Festival for our anniversary. Toby was a great host and cooked us a lovely breakfast. The room was clean and the area was beautiful. I enjoyed waking up and seeing horses outside the window. We also had a fantastic picnic on the grounds. Thank you for the great hospitality!

We stayed at Servus Stratford for our 1 year anniversary and we had the best time!! The food was incredible - homemade and farm to table! Tobias was generous enough to let us walk around and see the horses in the barn, the piglets and chickens! They also had mares grazing down by the river which we caught a glimpse of! The rooms were gorgeous and the decor was very cozy and Bavarian themed. We were delighted and surprised to get to take home some fresh farm eggs at the end of our stay! Tobias went above and beyond to make our stay so personalized and warm. He even coordinated a flower delivery for us! It was an amazing stay and we hope to be back next year!

We went with our teenage daughter for one night over the long thanksgiving weekend. The setting is beautiful with the farm and horses and changing colours, and Toby was a generous and welcoming host. Food was great! We had the Riverview Suite and the rooms are very spacious and beds very comfy with quality linens and great views. We wished the rooms were more integrated and the living room was an open space rather than a separate room off a hallway. The weather was changing so the rooms were on the chilly side and didn't have carpets to warm them up, but each of the bedrooms had a nice heater/AC unit which we could control. But we couldn't figure out a way to turn the heat up in the living room area so didn't end up using it. All the rooms could benefit from a few cozy chairs/sofas arranged into a sitting area and a desk. Bathroom was spacious and very clean with a vintage look; but the fan made a really loud noise so we kept it off. The aesthetic is on the rustic side, and the there was a nice balcony that we would have enjoyed more if we stayed longer. 3 stars = good
