Stratford Suites

Was a great place to stay. Once you figure out how to check in. Not your typical check in. Had to reach out to a person by phone to be able to get check in information. She was super friendly and nice about everything. The rooms themselves are cleaned immaculately. Very spacious room. Large bathtub and very comfortable beds. I would totally stay here again. Great location, very central to alot of places.

Stayed here for one night with my wife while staying in Stratford to see a show (Chicago - was excellent). The room (#201) was immense and well appointed. Bed was comfortable, but not a do not disturb mattress. Only complaint would be the smell of Natural Gas. There is a restaurant in the basement floor, so I'm guessing it was from there. Other than that, would definitely stay again. Thank you!

Nice large room. Good air conditioning, comfortable beds, tv worked well. Check in was pretty simple. The parking can be challenging if the lot behind the building is full. Rooms : 5/5 | Service : 5/5 | Location : 5/5 More

My husband and I stayed at the Rockwell Suites on a Sunday to enjoy Rockwell Lounge's "Posh Nosh" evening. Check-in was any time after 3pm and when we arrived a little before 4pm, the building was locked however, the friendly staff opened the door and provided us with keys to the suite. Parking is conveniently located behind the building which was helpful as it was a snowy day! Our room was located on the third floor and although there are no elevators, it was easy enough to take a couple of flights up to our room. The room is incredibly spacious and so beautiful with a super chill vibe. It surprisingly was equipped with a large fridge, tabletop element, kettle, a French press (how amazing!) and a small sink. The room has a coffee table, comfy couch, high top table and two chairs, a very comfortable bed although the pillows could be a little heavier duty. The bathroom is nice with a very neat black sink, wood countertop and plumbing pipes as legs so definitely very chic and modern. There is a television which you can login to your streaming service for some entertainment. The Rockwell Suites are conveniently located behind City Hall, across from Rheo Thompson's and literally a stone throws away from many wonderful theatres and pubs/brewery (we enjoyed The Hub and Heritage Hops Brewery while we were there). Revel is a wonderful coffee shop with delicious croissants. Check-out was very easy, we simply left the keys on the coffee table and was on our way. We certainly enjoyed our stay and will most definitely return to see the city during Summer!

Not bad, but we wont be rushing back. The positives; central location, spacious suite, clean and nice big bathtub. The negatives; its not what you think, the website shows city hall as the first picture, you are not staying in city hall, in fact there is no pictures of the actual building on the website. We were provided check-in information to pick up our keys at a lounge in the basement of the building, the building was closed when we arrived so we called the number provided and were told to pick our keys up at a pub across town. No text response despite being told that was a preferred method of contact. When we got to the room our door was wide open, allowing anyone else with the building keys to invite themselves in. There were multiple fans in the room, due to the fact that there is NO AC! Room had to have been over thirty degrees, and the windows do not open.
