The Windsor Hotel

Shockingly terrible service. If youre reading this - do not book here. This might be my first google review in years, I share this to highlight how incredibly dissatisfied and disappointed we are with this company. My partner and I reserved a night and due to extenuating circumstances we had to cancel with a weeks notice. The service we got over the phone was disgusting. They would not even provide their name, which in hospitality is astonishing. Neither did they connect us to the manager. She was rude and hostile. This isnt a case of us being unreasonable. We eventually got a call back from the manager who has yet to provide any reconciliation. Not even a credit for future use? So what happens to the amount we paid? We will be reporting this organization to the business bureau and definitely explore other avenues.

Nearby activities: Theatres, bars Safety: Walking alone in area at night I didnt feel in danger. Walkability: Very walkable Food & drinks: Lots of bars, restaurants, cafes etc.

Rated out of 10, 10 being the best. 9 for size of room and cleanliness, 1 for size of the bathroom and the mold along the bottom of the shower. 1 for furniture, specifically the chair which felt it was falling apart if we sat on it and '0' for the toilet which is not according to standards and the seat was falling off. 3 for hot water that showed up after 5 minutes of running . It does however deserve a 10 for location and the check-in process.

If I could rate below a one I would. My experience with this hotel has been horrific. I booked and because of extenuating circumstances I was forced to cancel. The hotel has refused to grant me a refund. I had a third party confirm that they would not take any fees. I called and spoke with a member of the front desk staff- who refused to give me her name or allow me to speak with anyone else at the hotel. As they would not grant any refund I requested to stay in the room- because I have now paid for it. Now they are refusing to re-book our stay. So I have paid for the night, and they will allow other guests to double pay to stay in the room. Their front desk staff are rude and unreasonable. I was taking a risk in booking a new hotel- we typically stay at The Eddison Hotel- I recommend NEVER booking at The Windsor Hotel because if you have any issue they are ridiculous to deal with. SO disappointed!
