Nice place for a walk. Beautiful when the flowers are in bloom.

We visit this park several times a year. It has large perennial beds offering something fresh and beautiful in every season. It includes but is not limited to a nice selection of spring bulbs, a variety of peonies, irises, a rose garden, some annuals, a variety of trees, shrubs, striking architectural structures and bench's, plus a few picnic tables for a rest or meal. It did have a wonderful old fashioned herb garden area with fragrant sweet peas, bronze fennel, mallow, plus your regular herbs which currently appears to be under redevelopment. Really hoping a large labeled herb garden will return. Larger than the narrow garden they have placed a few herbs in that were preciously in the garden now under development. A peaceful, beautiful garden that has a secluded atmosphere and often is not as busy as the main riverside area.

Really beautiful spot with lots of shade. Went in May when not everything was in bloom, so would love to check it out in June or July
