Strathroy Motor Inn

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The room was very clean and comfortable. The bed and pillows were comfortable to sleep on. The hotel is close to a lot of restaurants and highway.

I would never stay here. Had family down and room booked with cot. Place smelled awful, had to ask for cot, and when they brought the cot there was no bedding, no pillows. I recently had the misfortune of staying at the Strathroy Motor Inn. It is a basic motel. The beds were clean. The TV was large and the picture was clear. Those are the good things. I emailed the Inn last week and have not even received an acknowledgement. These are some of my concerns: - the room was freezing. He had not turned on the heat prior to my arrival. I asked for and received a space heater which he later wanted to take back. I was in my winter coat and under the duvet - there were 4 squares of toilet paper and no extra. He returned with 2 rolls - carpet was dirty, some dark fluid on the wall that had dripped down - the ceiling in the bathroom was nasty, stained ++. For all l know it could have been growing mold - the fridge and microwave were not plugged in which meant I needed to get on my hands and knees to do it - unable to watch tv.
