Ask for Carole!! Shes an excellent examiner and makes you feel extremely comfortable and will answer any questions you have thoroughly before the test. If youre someone with nerves, she makes them disappear before you ever start the test shes beyond good at her job. Whatever stories youve heard about grouchy examiners and there are some, she is the complete opposite 10/10.

I had the same experience except in reverse! I had Kelly the first time and she was so amazing I unfortunately did not pass because I had 2 errors I needed to fix my exhaust to help me maintain proper speed and I needed to work on my right left right left. Even though I was not successfull my first attempt the instructor made me feel confident that if I worked on those 2 errors I would be fine the next time around. Still having confidence I booked for the next available date which happend to be In Espanola which I was previous for my g2 and it was an awesome experience so I went in excited! As soon as Michelle walked up to my car I did not get an introduction she just yelled at me to signal check and brake check (before even confirming who I even was). Upon opening the door to my vehicle she made the largest insulted grunt followed by "I can refuse your test right now just because your car is such a disaster" My reply was "my apologies my oldest has special needs and I didn't have time before I left do tidy" Her response? "Well thats no excuse you should have made time!" I went from happy to defensive in 30 seconds flat, my dirving skills are whats being judged not my life.I don't have any pets so she was complaining of the evidence of children in the car. Her demeanor was off from the very beginging. As the test continued her attitude just got more ignorant and condescending. She made me so uncomfortable. Your a stranger who just insulted me and now I'm forced to be in the car for 20 minutes. It was hard to focus I was so insulted. I try to never drive angry to me that doesn't seem responsible or safe. Everything is so booked up I waited today for standby as the closest I could get was in espo and its farther. I waited till 2pm today to find out it was her and left. I refused to repeat any exam with her! I would rather let my license expire and pay to redo it then pay another cent to the MTO to have her as an instructor. I have had all positive experiences there pass or fail aside from this woman. Hardest part of any exam is your nerves and she has no place being an instructor. I have paid 40 grand in tuition qnd never have I ever experienced such disrespect from someone I paid to examine me!

Took me 15 minutes longer than what it shouldve taken me to even find this place. Failed my G today after driving more than an hour to attempt it! I was told that I was not meant to obey the 30km/h (on a sharp curve) sign when there is a yellow line painted on the left hand of the road as it is specifically meant for buses and bikers (because bikers are biking on 80km/h interchanges daily- silly me, I shouldve guessed bikers can bike faster than my vehicle). I dont know Sudbury like the back of my hand as I am not from Sudbury. She told me We only obey the speed limit in the winter, youre slowing the traffic behind you. She kept reminding me that the speed limit was 80km/h on the highway. She told me that when I am merging into oncoming traffic I am meant to be going 80km/h. I couldnt merge because (surprise, surprise) it was rush hour. I got docked marks for that. I live on a four lane highway- I know that when youre going to slow down a huge line of traffic you wait until it is safe to merge. If you cannot merge you are meant to stop and wait rather than cause an unnecessary (potentially fatal) accident. I was slowing down until it was safe to merge because I didnt want to cut off a pickup truck. I also went through two yellow lights because I was already in the intersection and figured that going through would make sense. Sorry, next time I know to break immediately when the light turns yellow and cut off a family of 4 walking. Thank you to the middle aged white woman with crispy bleached hair! Made my day!
