Pelvic Matters Physiotherapy - Karin Salzman, RPT

Karin is absolutely amazing, she has helped me with my pelvic floor dysfunction. She had assisted me with a moderate prolapse of the bladder and other pelvic floor issues. I would highly recommend her.

I used to think pelvic floor issues where something that only happened to woman who had given birth. Being in my early 40ies and not having had any babies, I was surprised that sneeze pee could happen to me. Once a couple of other issues started to creep up (ongoing SI joint issues amongst them), I decided to give pelvic floor therapy a try. Karin Salzman came highly recommend, so the 2+ hour car ride to the appointment seemed worth while. Karin was very professional, knowledgeable, caring and, exactly prepared me for what to expect during the actual assessment. She talked me through what she was finding and helped me get in touch with these muscles that I previously hadnt given much thought to. Turns out they were being employed too much and Karin taught me how to eliminate this subconscious habit. We also went through some practical applications and general questions I had. Returning for my second session already showed a big improvement - how exciting! Both visits were excellent - I highly recommend Karin!!

Karin is an amazing phisotherapist who not only taught me about pelvic health but guided me on a journey towards physical and mental health. She is extremely supportive, patient and respectful towards a person's unique needs. I highly recomend Karin and can't wait to see her again :)
