Air Canada Rouge

I am a frequent flyer from Saskatoon to Toronto and other Canadian destinations. I have noticed that most Air Canada flights have been switched to Rouge - old planes with even tighter seat configurations. While I understand that the market demands more low-fare options, please do not make Rouge the exclusive Air Canada airline from Saskatoon. The flights from Saskatoon to Calgary will be cancelled January 2023, which makes it even more frustrating. I have always understood that Air Canada is Canadas airline - does Saskatoon not count? Air Canada has really impressed me as of recently and I have switched most of my business from WestJet - but these recent decisions for Saskatoon is making it very difficult to be loyal.

It seems like they try to hide the fact that you're booking a Rouge flight, and because why would anyone voluntarily get on one of these planes? No entertainment system, no chargers, narrow seats, insufficient room for carryon, and worst of all, apparentl no air conditioning whatsoever. How can a plane be so hot flying at 40,000 feet? I've never been on such a hot flight. Open a window! (kidding). It must have 30 degrees in the cabin! Worst 5 hr flight ever.

Overbook their flights. Don't let people bring on carry ons even though there was room on the plane. Didn't let me get stuff that can not freeze from the bag. Ruined everything in the bag.

Do NOT board this airline Unsafe! Dangerous! Accident waiting to happen! Rude staff Awful food Late flights Dirty Smelly Flight crew out on the town while passengers wait to board Loose fitting seats Loose overhead panels Broken safety lights Passenger safety brief unsatisfactory
