FIX AUTO THUNDER BAY SOUTH

2022 Rio 4000 km. $13,551.41 in repairs at Badani Motors/fix auto south. WHY?! I am satisfied with the repair work over all. A lot was done and done well. So why this ? After I signed paperwork, paid my deductible and was brushing the day's snow off to take my car home (yes, it was presented to me fully snow covered) Fellow comes out of the building, noticed me and came over. Started talking, opened the hood and showed me a broken part still on the car. Part is on extended back order and will be installed when it comes in. No big deal but why wasn't I told this before I paid? After getting home I noticed the front fascia/hood gap is crooked. They agreed to bring it back and gave me a loaner for the day. When picking up my car we looked at it together and it was, far better than when I left it. He explained all he had done that day, parking next to similar cars and comparing gaps, taking my car to Performance Kia where the shop manager, a buddy he's known for years "told him these cars are crooked right from the factory". (I'm currently in conversation with performance kia about this) After it being thoroughly explained this gap was the best I could hope for I was deflated and defeated enough to sign off and go home. How do I argue a point with someone who spent his day trying to prove me a liar for saying my hood was straight when I bought the car, rather than fix the car? I have since been in contact with Fix Auto and my insurance company to get the car repaired properly but the manager at Badani Motors/fix auto south has taken offense at my email to his bosses. He flew into a shouting rage on the phone Friday calling me the "worst kind of customer", shouting he will "not repair my vehicle!" under any circumstance (including the installation of back ordered part when it arrives?) "I'll pay someone else to do it!" I'll credit back the insurance company!" (and leave the vehicle unrepaired?) I'm glad I called instead of going in myself. Could have been a scary encounter. Sure it would have cost them money to fix it properly but really? Yeah. Anywhere but here people. Services: Body & Trim, Air conditioning, Painting

I hit a deer on my way to the airport last autumn and my insurance company sent me to Fix Auto and it was probably the most positive auto repair experience Ive had. Every staff member I interacted with was helpful and engaged and the work was excellent quality. They kept me in the loop and were really easy to deal with.
