Coney Island Westfort

Was in the area and had a cheeseburger and hot dog with everything on it. Had been there before and food was all right. This time, cheeseburger was absolutely tasteless. Hot dog was downright bad...weiner tasted like it wasn't even cooked.

Bad service from a younger worker, not very welcoming at all to newcomers or first timers. Probably not gonna go back. Prepped food with bare hands after handling cash.

I want to start off by say Coney Island was my fav restaurant in westfort. However, times have changed and so has the food at this local iconic restaurant. I went there today for the first time in a long time. I ordered two hotdogs (no onions) and two cheeseburgers (no onions). Lets start with the hotdogs. The bun was steamed, soft and tasty. The hotdog itself, was not very good at all. It was over cooked, rubbery, and chewy with no flavor. The Coney sauce was not the Coney sauce I remember, it lacked flavour. Now onto the cheeseburgers. Again the bun was steamed and tasty. However, the actual hamburger meat was over cooked, tough and lacking flavor. The sauce was the same as the hotdogs. Customer service was fantastic. Too bad the food has slipped.
