Noteworthy details: Beautiful waterfront and great views. Trains do run right behind the hotel at night, so it can cause some noise issues. I think it is a worthy trade off. Are behind hotel is a little sketchy but has seen a marked improvement in the last few years. Rooms: Spotlessly clean, comfortable, large, and inviting. Nearby activities: Close to everything and everywhere you'd want or need to go. Safety: You don't have to worry about safety here. There's security on the grounds 24/7, and most of the area is closed to the public from 11pm to 7am. Walkability: Within walking distance of many attractions and shops, etc. Food & drinks: Anchor & Oar is most definitely hit or miss, mostly miss for us, and we won't be ordering from them ever again. In fact, we decided to avoid repeated and utter dissatisfaction and drove to McDonald's a block away to get breakfast. Plus, there are a multitude of top-notch restaurants within walking distance. Noteworthy details: Unless you get underground parking, or luck out with a spot in the very limited area beside the hotel, or decide to try your luck at the strictly enforced 2-hour-limit public parking lot across from the hotel. Be prepared for a 5 minute walk to the hotel from the parking lot, which is way over by the public boat launch.
