We stayed here for my sons birthday! Everything was perfect. Hotel is sketchy but the poolside is totally fine. Rooms stink like smoke! Which is nasty! Walls can use a good paint job & rooms need updating. Although I like that the poolside rooms have laminate instead of carpet, they are very slippery when the kids are walking in wet to change. Beds are comfy and bug free. Pool is open until 11pm so If you have young kids who need sleep early in quiet dont get poolside rooms because it is insanely loud until its closed. All I can suggest is updates & cleaning the rooms better! There was stains on the white sheets which is pretty gross.

Lady at the front desk not smiley, not nice, not willing to help when you ask questions... before I leave I needed a towel and a face cloth (there was some clean ones right in front of the desk) she said not to take it the room service would bring me some at the room, never received it! I hope never go back to Thunder Bay and if I have to it's the last hotel I'd go. Plus the rooms were like a cheap hotel which I'm not used to.

I give the Landmark a 3 star rating based on accommodations. The rooms are older and a bit run down. There is a pool on site for swimming and the food at the restaurant was quite good . The staff is just friendly. The hotel location is close to a grocery store, Walmart and gas stations for convenience. I consider this Hotel a good option for a budget.
