She gave me advice, on the importance of cash flow, helped me plan a budget, make that budget flexible somewhat, and taught me not to be embarrassed to talk about my finances. She was very honest about how she could help me and talked me out of some things that were out of reach in the short term but achievable in the longer run. She took the stress out of money management for me. It was because of her I could afford my first house all by myself. If you get the opportunity to work with her by all means do it.
