Tomlin Subdivison

This was my first visit to the Subdivision, and I must say it's been an enjoyable experience. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff were polite, professional, and attentive, despite it being a busy Friday. As this was my initial foray into "Detroit-style" pizza, i had a basic idea what to expect, but had never experienced it for myself. I found the crust to be robust, yet maintain the fluffy, pull-apart texture that I expect was the product of much trial + error. The cookery was quite well executed, and I was pleased with the contrast between the guilt-inducing crust, and the more delicate interior. With the generous inclusion of toppings on my 'supreme' pizza, one might anticipate an inevitably soggy, or difficult to manage texture. This was not the case - each bite maintaining the crisp crunch of the well-seasoned crust, and a mouthful of fresh, deftly applied ingredients. I was quite surprised at how filling, and satisfying the meal was.
